PUMA shoe

Challenge: design a lifestyle or activity shoe for a current or proposed segment of PUMA's general target market. I proposed, researched, and designed this activity and lifestyle shoe for the Import Street Racing Culture. A movie dramatizing the subject hit the theaters soon after this half-semester project. Color exploration included research of color as worn by Tokyo youth. Knock-down versions utilizing stitching patterns without material cutouts were also explored. The result combines support, protection, movement, and pedal interaction within a precision import look that communicates its own purpose, the PUMA brand, and speaks to the edgy puma market. This presentational image is a combination of line drawing, markers, and Photoshop.
